Bill Marino

Bill Marino, having been involved in protecting and monetizing patents since 1995, has advised clients on patent validity and infringement issues, negotiated inbound and outbound licenses and counseled clients on offensive and defensive intellectual property strategy and due diligence for acquisitions and licensing.

Most recently, Mr. Marino served as CEO for Saxon Innovations, LLC, where he was responsible for the portfolio acquisition and overall strategy litigation decisions of the company. While at Saxon, he also served as partner and general counsel for Altitude Capital Partners, a private fund focused on investing in intellectual property. Prior to that, Bill was in private practice with two large firms, where he specialized in patent litigation.

Bill holds an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University. He is registered to practice at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
